Hi!

I’m a brazilian writter who’s been unsuccessfully trying to come up with a name of a female islamic character that be neither offensive nor inaccurate. I wonder if there are any rules for females last names. I would be so glad if you could tell if there are and, if yes, what they are. Also, the rules already explained here, such as the one that goes for the “Al-” prefix, can be applied to a female lastname?
