    Salam

    We are expecting a baby girl very soon. We have been looking around for names and have taken a liking to Amie or Aimee.

    However, we are unable to find any information on whether the name has an Islamic meaning. I understand that in English and French it means beloved.

    We would appreciate any advise on whether this would be a good name for our daughter.
