Salam,

I am thinking of naming my daughter to be, IA, either Nuha or Ilya. I have two questions:

1) Does changing the pronunciation of Nuha from ‘Nuhaa’ to ‘Nooha’ change the meaning? Is the name still considered the same meaning and also Quranic?

2) Does the name Ilya, pronounced ‘Il-eee-aa’, mean the same thing as the word ‘Ilayya’?
