Full Meaning of Elaph

Elaph is a direct Quranic name for boys and girls that means “oath”, “promise”, “safety”, “security”. It is used twice in the Quran in Surat Quraish.

SO THAT the Quraysh might remain secure, secure in their winter and summer journeys, let them, therefore, worship the Sustainer of this Temple; who has given them food against hunger, and made them safe from danger. (Quran 106:1-4)
