Full Meaning of Ferhan

Ferhan is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “happy”, “joyous”, “rejoicing”. It is derived from the F-R-H6 root which is used in many places in the Quran.

He it is Who makes you travel by land and sea; until when you are in the ships, and they sail on with them in a pleasant breeze, and they rejoice… (Quran 10:22)
