Full Meaning of Zowbaita
Zowbaita is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “soft-bodied”, “like cream”, and is also an idiom for “the best” (in beauty, in virtue, etc) originating from the fact that cream is the “best” part that raises to the top of milk. Zowbaita is derived from the Z-B-D root which is used in chapter 13 of the Quran.
He sends down from the sky, rain, and valleys flow according to their capacity, and the torrent carries a rising foam. And from that [ore] which they heat in the fire, desiring adornments and utensils, is a foam like it… (Quran 13:17)
