There r two opinions about this name.either it has Arabic roots or Spanish(xavier in spanish).not sure if it is mentioned in Quran or not.i kept my baby’s name zaviar bcz I was satisfied tht it’s a Muslim name bcz I raed something on Wikipedia where there was a reference of a book in which the writer of th book mentioned tht originally moorish Muslims(early Muslims who came to Spain) used to keep this name and was adopted by Spanish people later on

‘Zaviyar’ name meaning is ‘Loin’s Heart’ or ‘Brave’. This one of the best and unique name. I love it.
