Meaning of Asna
Asna is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “she glowed”, “she was dazzlingly brilliant.” It is derived from the S-N-A root which is used in the Quran in 24:43:
Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it.
