Full Meaning of Eribe

Eribe is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “wise”, “intelligent”. It is derived from the A-R-B root (“need”, “intelligence”) which is used in the Quran in a number of places.

He replied, “It is my staff. I lean on it, bring down leaves for my sheep with it and I need it for other reasons. (Quran 20:18)
