StaceyAssalamu Alaikum.
I am a revert, Alhumdulilah. I have a son whom I name Sulayman. My parents are very close to me and respect that I am Muslim. They however struggle with my sons name. I need male baby names for my future son so that my parents will not struggle. I cannot choose Adam as that is my husbands name.
What are good names that I can name my sons and my parents not struggle pronouncing. The only ones I know are Zain and Yusuf but they are taken in my husbands family.

Zarah is like another spelling of Zarra, which means “pilgrim”, “visitor”.
Ferial is an alternate spelling of Feryal/Faryal, which is a Persian name meaning “one who has a beautiful neck”, thus meaning “beautiful”.

Can you please clarify your quesiton?
-
Rayyan Ahmed is an acceptable name since both names have good meanings.
-
Alaikiumassalam wa rahmatullah,
We have no exact information on Zofeen. The Zo part is possibly from the Arabic Dhaw’, which means “light”, “radiance”.
-
Yafis, or more accurately Yafith, known as Japheth in English, is supposed to be one of the sons of Noah in the Bible. The Quran or hadith does not mention this name, but since it is supposed to be the name of a prophet, it is acceptable for Muslims to use. The exact meaning of this name is not known, some sources say it means “enlargement”.

Alaikumassalam wa rahmatullah,
Did you try searching for this names using the search box?

Unfortunately we have no exact information on Radin. If you read it as Raadin, it may be derived from the Arabic word radana which means “to spin”, thus Raadin would mean “one who spins yarn using a spindle”. If you read the name as Radeen, the name may mean “spun yarn”.

Alaikumassalam wa rahmatullah,
You can choose a Western name that has a good meaning, as in Islam it is not required to use Arabic or Quranic names. Acceptable Western names are Andrew (“Warrior”), Henry and Harry (“ruler of the house”), Zach/Zachariah (a prophet mentioned in the Quran and the Bible, in Arabic known as Zakariyya) Ben/Benjamin (brother of prophet Jospeh/Yusuf), John/Johann/Ian/Hans (a prophet, known as Yahya in Arabic), and Aaron (known as Harun in Arabic).
Muslims in Persia often use Persian names, Turkish Muslims use Turkish names, Kurdish Muslims use Kurdish names; there is nothing wrong with European Muslims using European names.
As for Arabic names sounding Western, there is Ryan, which some Muslims use as an alternate spelling of Rayyan. There is also Aiden/Ayden, which you can find on our site. Another name is Esa, which in Arabic refers to Jesus peace be upon him, while in English it refers to Isaiah, another prophet. Unfortunately that is all I can think of.

Aaez is another spelling of Aaiz, please see this page: Aaiz
-
Mabrurah Ghaneem is an allowed name. Some scholars would not recommend Mabrurah since it comes from the B-R-R root and the Prophet (PBUH) changed a girl’s name (Barrah) which comes from the same root.
-
@Sister: Can you please explain what your issue now is?
@Sara: There are various names that can be spelled as Sara, and all of them are acceptable. Please type Sara in the search box for more information.
-
Yes you can.
-
Both are acceptable. It is completely subjective which one is greater.
