I was wondering if the name "Nyla" appears in the Qur'an and if it's a permissible name.
Answer
This is an official answer by QuranicNames.com Staff
Nyla is another spelling of Naa'ila, which means achiever/winner. The root of the word is "nala", which means "he/she achieved", and this root is mentioned in the Quran. But the name itself, Naa'ila is not mentioned.
It's a permissible name since it has a good meaning.
