Meaning of Ikhlas
Ikhlas is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means purity, devotion, sincerity, loyalty, faithfulness. It is derived from the KH-L-S (pure, sincere) root which is used in many places in the Quran. Ikhlas is also a common name for chapter 112 of the Quran.
for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. (Quran 38:46)
