I need to change my name.Is changing name permitted in Islam?Give me some names(Male) starting with ‘S’.

Yes you can change your name according to the consensus of scholars, provided that the new name does not have a bad meaning. If you are a Muslim convert, you do not have to change your name unless your current name has a meaning that is against Islam, for example names of pagan deities.
