Romeesa can be another spelling of Rumeisaa, which is an Arabic name that means "hidden", "woman having beautiful black eyes". It is pronounced [(R)un + p(U)t] + [(MAY)] + [(SA)nd] with emphasis on the final syllable. It is written as رُمَيْسَاء in Arabic and can also be written as Rumisa, Rumeisa, Rumeysa, Rumeysaa, Rumaysaa, Rumaisaa in English. It is not a Quranic name but Muslims can use it since it doesn't have a bad meaning.
