Farzad is a Persian name for boys that means "high-born", "high-status", "exalted". It is pronounced [(FU)n + p(R)ay] + [(Z)ero + m(A)n + (D)ay] with emphasis on the second syllable. Farzad is written as فرزاد in Persian and can also be written as Farzaad, Ferzad, Ferzaad in English. It is not an Islamic name but Muslims can use it since it doesn't have a bad meaning.
