Muhannad is an Arabic name that refers to a type of sword that used to be one of the highest quality swords available in ancient Arabia. The word literally means “India-ified”, which referred to the fact that the sword was made with iron from India (it is unclear whether the sword itself was manufactured in India or Arabia).
Muhannad is not an Islamic name and it is not from the Quran, but Muslims can use this name since it doesn’t have a bad meaning. It rhymes with Muhammad.
