We selected the name QUSWA for our newborn but we r not sure about the meaning and origin of this name,is this a Quranic name or is it ok to keep this name for a girl?

Answer

This is an official answer by QuranicNames.com Staff
Quswa means "farthest point", "farthest", it is used in Quran 8:42. It also comes from the same root that al-Aqsa comes from (the name of a famous mosque in Palestine mentioned in the Quran).

It is pronounced as Ira(Q) + M(US)lim + (W)ish + h(U)mble [read only letters in brackets]
The meaning is not bad so you can keep it as a name for your baby inshAllah.
