Answer
Alaikumassalam wa rahmatullah,
Zaber could refer to two different names. One of them is more accurately spelled as Zabr, written as ضَبْر in Arabic, and it means "group of fighters who fight for the sake of Allah". It is pronounced [(Z)ero + r(U)n + (B)oy + p(R)ay] and can also be written as Zaber, Zabre, Zabir in English. It is not a Quranic name but Muslims can use it since the meaning is not bad.
The other word is more accurately spelled Zaabir, it is written as ذَابِر in Arabic, and it means "scholar", "one who has vast knowledge", "genius". It is pronounced [(Z)ero + m(A)n] + [(B)oy + s(I)t + p(R)ay] with emphasis on the first syllable, and can also be written as Zaber, Zabir, Zaaber in English. It is not a Quranic name but Muslims can use it since it has a good meaning. Some people may also write it as Dhaabir or Thaabir.
As for Zarib please see: Zarib
