Meaning of Safeeya
Safeeya is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “pure”, “chosen”, “virtuous”. It is a beloved name among Muslims due to its belonging to three well-known Muslim women from the history of Islam:
- Safeeya bint Abdulmutallib, aunt of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah upon him and his family and companions
